Coordinated suicide attacks rocked the Quetta city of Pakistan on Tuesday leaving a number of security personnel dead or wounded.
The incident took place in the outskirts and close to the airport of Quetta on Tuesday afternoon and evening, leaving at least six security personnel dead and 16 others wounded.
A senior police official Razzaq Cheema said a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle packed with explosives into a police van on the way to airport, leaving at least six security personnel dead and eight others wounded.
However, security sources are saying that at least seven security personnel were killed in the attack and seven others were wounded.
Earlier, two suicide bombers targeted the security posts of the Pakistani military in the outskirts of the city leaving at least eight soldiers wounded.
No individual or group has so far claimed responsibility behind the attack but the homegrown Taliban, Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan, has previously claimed responsibility for such attacks.
This comes as at least five security personnel were wounded in a similar attack in the city earlier this month.
